At Bee Ballin Hoops, we are passionate about the game of basketball and everything it represents. Retired Police detective who played high school basketball at Corona Del Sol in Tempe Arizona. I receivedfull athletic scholarships to Scottsdale Community College (AZ, ’97-’99) and Tarleton State University (TX, ’99-’01) where I had a swing player role for both programs ranging from point guard to post player. After graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Management I began my unexpected coaching career. I was first given the opportunity as an assistant Coach at my alma mater, Scottsdale Community College, where I coached from 2001- 2007. As a SCC assistant I helped the ’03-’04 team to NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Tournament where “Runner Up Title” and the ‘05 and ’06 teams to a 2nd place NJCAA finish (National Junior College Athletic Association) in the Regional Championship. In 2008 I moved to Maryland and became a High school headbasketball coach ending with an overall 65-14 record. After an unfortunate career ending injury, I moved back to Arizona in 2022. Overall, I’ve coached AAU, High School, College and have a basketball company that emphasizes on player development, PR management and recruiting. Throughout my career I’ve had the pleasure and honor to coach some truly amazing individuals, primarily girls basketball players, who’ve gone on to play at numerous collegiate programs. Looking back now isfunny because in those first couple years coaching, I barely spoke, I was intensely processing the what, why and how. I truly love coaching and the challenges that come with it. Every player is different, and every season is different and just like the game itself great coaches canread and adjust. So for me I’ve always gravitated to player development, where my challenge is determining whatmakes each player flip the switch or shutdown, why they do what they do, and how to provided them the knowledge & resources to not only be successful on the court but in life. Society doesn’t pour into female athletes the way they do with male athletes, which plays into the psyche of most female athletes. Therefore, its important for me to instill confidence in female athletes, ensuring they know their value and worth. You Dominate The Game, You Dominate in Life!
